The following qualities will greatly facilitate your success in exploring the Universe Evolutionary Worldview's principles and processes and (if you are of a spiritual nature,) the Evolution Spirituality movement:
1.) an openness to explore and discover new information about life and spirit and the desire for a better life, society, and world,
2.) a willingness to read and commit to practice new ideas, attitudes, and processes for 120 days to reality-test them for yourself to see if they really work. (The reason we say 120 days is because on the average it takes that long to practice what you have learned to produce a meaningful and significant lifestyle improvement in your life. It also takes at least 90 days of repetition just to take new ideas, attitudes, and processes and turn them into lifestyle habits.)
From time to time Universe Spirit will add position papers on spiritual, organizational, or secular matters where we believe expanding the new Universe Evolutionary Worldview perspective would be beneficial. The co-created and member submitted position papers found below represent the current state of the evolving principles of our organization. They contain the ideals and principles we strive to integrate and embody, or desire to use, in achieving our organization's mission.
There is a new spiritual movement that transcends and includes not only the Interfaith movement it also transcends and includes the best of today’s progressive Eco-spirituality, Women's spirituality, Integral spirituality, Participatory spirituality (P2P) and Evolutionary spirituality movements. If fact, it strives to include the most life affirming aspects of all of humanity's religions without their worst. In some ways it is a child of the Internet generation where all human knowledge is rapidly becoming accessible, yet it is far, far more than just a new synergy of all spiritual and religious data.
We are the life that knows how it came to be, that can contemplate its future. We are the universe become conscious of itself. For four billion years life never even bothered to ask, and then-just 40 thousand years ago-life finally popped the question. But it was only yesterday that we grasped the answer we-all life-have evolved and will continue to do so. Wakened suddenly from our four billion-year slumber, our millennial stirrings, we find ourselves in the midst of an explosion. At the precise moment we have awakened, have come to know, we appear to be either life's fool, accelerating toward the brick wall of planetary finiteness, life's clever revolutionary headed toward the stars, or a sadder but wiser species yearning for Eden. As we struggle to come fully awake, we are not yet sure which it is-the fool, Captain Kirk, or a new Adam and Eve-but we suspect our self-assessment could, in itself, make a decisive difference.Nike Zoom Vomero 11
