Our basic integral curriculum goals are to educate through artful means on:
1. How to live a good, meaningful and successful individual and community life,
2. How to create individual and social right livelihood and lifestyle and a sustainable prosperity and meaningful quality of for all, and
3. How be an informed and responsible Universe Citizen and universe evolutionary capable of co-evolving a future for humanity designed to last at least another one million generations.
The Universe Academy is dedicated to creating a life education curriculum that provides the three great types of knowledge and skills that that are essential to creating successful, sustainable and meaningful lives.
What Does the Universe Academy Do?
We are an online school educating about how to integrate the new life and community sustaining knowledge and tools of the evolutionary Universe Worldview into the lives of individuals, organizations and governments. This evolutionary new worldview with its knowledge and tools not only provides the needed wellbeing lifestyle and livelihood models for our new Universe Age, it also provides the needed well being lifestyle and livelihood models for the challenging transition humanity must go through in order to become sustainably prosperous now while still providing for the prosperity and well being of future generations.
For the training of society's future leaders the Universe Academy also educates about how to use the science behind the universe's evolutionary systems to better resolve and evolve our current social and planetary challenges. This vital goal is achieved primarily by educating about, the new universal universe science based ethics, how to hold universe-scaled perspective and how to use the new multi-perspective dialectical thinking tools of the exciting new Universe Worldview for managing complex systems to wisely create the new individual and community well being lifestyles and livelihoods of the future.

Unlike most higher education institutions, the Universe Academy balances a multi-disciplinary approach with a single discipline focus. The new Universe Worldview taught within the Universe Academy is focused on how to live a sustainable and meaningful "good life" as an agent of conscious evolution.
How Most Students will Experience Results on the Universe Academy Courses:
We strive to create a learning community where the student's insights and life affirming intentions result in lasting personal and social improvement. With a student's commitment to put in the consistent effort and study needed to complete our courses the student will learn and/or achieve the goals listed below. This is because the Universe Academy helps students re-align or expand their current worldview to the new Universe Worldview in order to discover a more effective and unified understanding of life and thereby how to create sustainable prosperity.
This new unified and expanded understanding will then help them to:
a.) enhance or re-align their thinking feeling and attitudes,
b.) which then enhance or re-align their actions and habits, and
c.) which then enhances or re-aligns their physical, economic, social lifestyles and livelihoods resulting in a unique and empowering benefits for their lives and the society.
For those who so choose, our courses will also help provide an inspiring foundation for becoming an effective and ethical certified leader, consultant, facilitator, coach, advocate, activist or educator for the perspectives and tools of the Universe Worldview. At the Universe Academy we will help you become more effective and responsible Universe Evolutionaries and Universe Citizens.
How to Find and Start the Right First Course for You
We strongly recommend that all new Universe Academy explorers begin with one of the following two courses:
A.) If you are more of a fact and life science person, start with the "Introduction to the New Universe Worldview, NUWS 101." (This course is moves you forward on the Second Great Adventure of Life.) Click here to review this course in the master list of online courses.

If you are a person who wants to learn and do more to help preserve and sustain the environment in collaboration with others, start "Creating a World that Works for All: Living Globally, Acting Locally," SE 130. What Courses to Do After you Have Done the Courses Listed Above
Once you have completed one or all of the courses listed above the course a student coach will make recommendations based upon your interests and needs as to what are the next best courses for you to take. If it is your first time looking over the Universe Academy courses and you have not already been referred to a specific course or, our general recommendation above of starting first with a basic course from the New Universe Worldview department, we suggest you do the following. Ask yourself:
a.) what are your greatest current interests? and,
b.) what are your greatest Life needs?
Next, either email us that information at manage@universeacademy.org and ask for your next course suggestion or look over the master list of courses and their descriptions and start the course where your greatest interest intersects your greatest need and hopefully also the world's greatest need! The only exemption to this is if you are trying to obtain a certification for facilitating, teaching, coaching or consulting for which there are courses that need to be done in a specific order.
Next, look at the numbers next to the course names in each department and select the appropriate level of course relevant to where your greatest interest intersects your greatest need. The lower numbers (the (100's) in a department signify entry level or beginners courses, the next higher numbers (200's plus,) are the intermediate level courses and the highest numbers are the advanced courses. Often there also will be a beginner, intermediate or advanced rating in the course description.
The reason that we recommend most individuals start with the New Universe Worldview courses is because the New Universe Worldview helps to create a science-grounded rational shift in individual perspective, values, purposes, identity more conducive to cooperation on the planetary challenges that we face collectively. Also, these courses are objective, science grounded and in most cases can be tested by the student to determine their factualness.

The Six Goals of the Universe Academy and Curriculum
Unlike most current higher education institutions the Universe Academy creates the correct balance of synthesizing knowledge in a multi-disciplinary approach with analyzing knowledge with a single discipline focus. Our specific integral curriculum goals are:
1. To show students their natural place in evolution: biologically and culturally, and to place that understanding within the larger context of an evolving universe. We do this by educating about science-grounded facts and perspectives of the integral and new evolutionary Universe Worldview. From the preceding emerges an integral, unified understanding of life and of the universe's natural and social systems in which we are embedded.
(The evolutionary Universe Worldview articulates a multi-disciplinary big story and universe perspective that conveys sustainability and quality-of-life advantages upon all individuals (or groups,) who have discovered and use it. It is truly everyone’s multi-disciplinary big story and it is the universal educational birthright of every person on the planet.)
2. To help students understand their role as universe citizens and Universe Evolutionaries, through finding a deeper understanding of who they are, where they come from, and how they might thrive and become more fulfilled by living ethical and sustainable lives. (At Universe Academy you can learn how to live and apply the new universe and universal ethics derived from our latest universe science and embodied within the Universe Principles of Life.)
3. To provide a critical resource for the new universe-aligned lifestyle and livelihood models critically necessary to current and future generations to steer humanity through the impending evolutionary crises transitions into a sustainable evolutionary trajectory.
4.) To focus upon creating new evolutionary leaders, educators, advocates, partners, activists as Universe Evolutionaries and Universe Citizens that will support the emergence of a new Universe Worldview that is aligned and continually adapting with science, technology and social innovation.
5.) To forward Job One for All Humanity! Job One for All Humanity puts first things first. It is working together to "preserve, sustain and steward our planet's life-supporting physical and biological environment!" As an urgent survival necessity, this single task needs to become every individual's, group's, corporation's, government's and religion's life-critical Job Number One!
6.) To help create a new mini-culture and cultural network where sustainable livelihoods and lifestyles are honored and financially supported.
If we do not quickly enact the needed lifestyle and structural changes to insure a sustainable planetary environment, at the minimum, we and future generations will be severely and adversely affected and at worse, humanity will go extinct as a species. Science has estimated that 98 percent of all species that have ever lived on the planet have already gone extinct! If we as a species continue to pollute, misuse and destroy our physical and biological environment in unsustainable ways, in the not too distant future our going extinct as a species is not a merely a remote impossibility.
This Job One for all of Humanity of saving humanity from extinction is today's most critical moral and spiritual imperative (for those so spiritually inclined.) It is now time for each individual and every planetary organization to act on this growing planetary challenge. This is done simply by becoming an active and effective evolutionary partner with other individuals and organizations to help to live and co-evolve a sustainable planetary environment and future.
7. To educate on how to use the new and mission-critical dialectical thinking tools of the new Universe Worldview for managing the interacting complex living and non-living systems we have evolved today.

The Design of the Courses at the Universe Academy: (We are still working on getting all of the goals listed below fully implemented.)
Integral Content: This means; 1. Everything essential or necessary for completeness. 2. Possessing everything essential in its proper position, excluding nothing that is needed from science, philosophy art religion etc. 3. The Integral movement and worldview has emerged in the Universe Age and a global Internet where the totality of every knowledge discipline and the wisdom of all existing and previous cultures are readily available. 4. Integral approaches to any field attempt to include as many perspectives, styles, and methodologies as possible within a coherent view of the topic.
Course Levels: All courses are arranged in beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Course Teaching Assistants: Each paid course will have a course teaching assistant. The course teaching assistant answers student emails and questions about the course.
Course Support: All paid courses will have a combination support buddy and course coach whose job it is to welcome all students, check back on them regularly, and help keep them progressing providing coaching or encouragement where necessary. The support buddy/coach does not answer course technical questions. Their sole job is to help get people through course completion and or certification. It is our position that providing online courses without a support system is not viable for the full success of our online students.
Course Certificates: Depending on the course, each course could have up to two certificates. One is a provisional certificate for when you have completed the course studies and the exercises and the other is a full completion certificate for specific life accomplishments. The full completion certificate is given to the individual after a period in which they have to successfully use in life what they have learned in the course. After doing that they then report back to get their completion certificate. Individuals who have their course completions certified in this way are more likely to be able to create a right livelihood as leaders, consultants, facilitators, advocates, activists or educators using the knowledge from those courses.
Teacher, Facilitator and Consultant Certification: For some courses the completion of courses will lead to the creation of certified facilitator, teacher, coach or consultant who can earn a right livelihood using the course information and skills to assist other individuals or organizations.
Media Rich Courses: Wherever possible, courses will be multi-media rich with images, graphics, charts, video, MP3s, etc.
Practical Exercises: Where applicable, most courses will have practical exercises. Some will have exercises to help build new lifestyle habits. Some with have other types of exercises.
De-construction Exercises: Where applicable, because the integral Universe Worldview perspectives change and realign previous worldviews, knowledge, standards, terminology and systems, many courses will have a de-construction section and possibly a re-construction section.
Science vs. Belief: In all classes, we will identify and clearly distinguish objective and testable science probability claims from any personal subjective beliefs or opinions as well as indicate any inter-subjective claims (culturally shared or agreed-upon “we” realities,) when used.
Multi-Perspective: Where applicable, courses will help students progress through the Three Great Spiritual Adventures and their multiple perspectives on life. The first Great Adventure deals with the "it" objective physical level of life, without which there would be no playing board (planetary life support systems,) for life to exist upon. The second Great Adventure focuses on the "I" subjective, personal level of life. The third Great Adventure focuses on the "we" inter-subjective (community, group,) level of life.
Ethical: Where applicable, all courses are delivered in ways consistent with generally accepted ethical principles and in alignment our Universe Principles of Life.
